I'm back again for what seems like the twentieth time.....

But this time instead of dieting I'm doing a lifestyle change which is what I should have done along time ago! My DH was diagnosed with diabetes in March of this year, SO I did some research on what diabetics should and shouldn't eat, Well long story short both he and I started eating healthy we eliminated white breads, sugar, potatoes, white rice, gravies and alot of red meats etc.. and we replaced it with whole wheat breads, brown rice, alot of chicken and turkey, as in turkey bacon, turkey sausage, ground turkey, alot more salads and vegetables plus more fruits, lets just say we made some much needed changes to our daily food intake PLUS we started walking an hour every day, so far I've lost 6 lbs... he's lost I think 10 ugh!! (lol) but anyway there are times when it seems like nothing is happening ( that's just because I want to see some result when I step on that scale) and I just want to quit.... but I am NOT giving up this time like I always have in the past!!! I feel really different this time like I'm finally going to do it I'm GOING TO LOSE THIS WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF!! emoticon
