This week since Spring is almost happening here in the Northeast and I mean ALMOST, I decided I had some time to change out the closets from winter to spring-summer, what I did not expect to happen was the thoughts that went through my mind. Last year I went down a size, so my lighter weight clothes were 18-20's, through the winter I was slowly getting back to the 22's due to decrease in exercise due to a knee patella issue, and the holiday eating extravaganza's which continued through March, thus 18-20 's, hmmm. I did not let it dissolve me I did not put them away, instead letting them be a incentive for me to get back into them.
The other thing that got me to thinking was while looking out the window yesterday was a lady who walked her dog everyday, she was quite overweight, I had not seen her since last fall until yesterday, I could not believe my eyes, she looked wonderful, I am hoping it was a healthy weight loss and not due to illness, but what struck me was how good she looked, and how walking every day might have played a part.
Needless to say these happening got me thinking about how positive thinking and steps each day can make a difference. Sending positive vibes.
