I think I kinda like hiking more than walking

Well let me rephrase, I enjoy hiking...pretty scenery, up hills, down hills, and so on. My body, on the other hand, is seriously thinking I'm an evil bitch right about now lol. Sunday I went for a one hour hike with my husband and youngest son. I climbed 30 stairs (and didn't pass out) to stand on an observation tower (a: I dont do stairs. b: im afraid of heights). It was nice, until the end on the way back to the car, which was all up hill
. Today my middle son went with me on the same hike, did it in 45 minutes this time, even did the evil old tower again
...the walk back to the parking area still sucked. My legs and hips are feeling muscles they forgot they had, even with all the evil stretches and squats and hamstring flextions I do and so on.
I did enjoy the fact that, even though there are trails, they are not flat straight boring trails. The terrain was not smooth enough to try to jog on, at least not for me yet. Some day though...some day.
And I think it should count extra, in some way, that I needed to pee the entire time, and I'm sure I was holding in a pound of pee. Think that counts kinda like ankle weights??? lol
