COMPUCATHY
Hmmm...very interesting...a lot of food for thought...especially as I am a food addict and I eat a lot of processed foods. Thanks so much! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the encouragement! Spark on! 2877 days ago

Fast Food Nation is a great book that uncovers all the manipulations of the food industry on so many levels- this was a good reminder. If I think I am being manipulated by big industry I am more like to get mad and not want something- so I try to keep that in mind. I read somewhere that's why they developed those superloaded nachos and french fries that are over 1000 calories a serving because they meld all those food factors together. 2879 days ago
Back in the 80's (way before Google was readily available) I began researching this kinda stuff . . . . and became a strict vegan. As time went on, in the 90's my research expanded to include cosmetics and 'beauty' products. I found a wealth of information out there, especially Dr Russell Blaylock's book "Excitotoxins", Dr Neil Nedley's "Proof Positive", and a host more.
It is amazing that our life spans are what they are given the vast amount of chemicals and non-food-products that we ingest daily . . . . no doubt due to all those preservatives.
You don't even want to look into the "heath" care industry! or the USDA food tolerance levels! or genetic engineering of our fresh fruits & vegetables! or . . . there's really no end to it.
All we can do is the best we can. Eat more simply. Eat more wisely. Make each day count and Enjoy each day as if it's the only one we'll ever have. 2879 days ago

Thanks for the link. I need to expose myself to these kinds of broadcasts now and then. We should all avoid processed foods. I went to grocery store last night and bought salty chips and chocolate. Daughter bought a tub of ice cream. It is all so addictive! 2879 days ago
