I'm definitely making progress

My son, daughter-in-law, her sister and our grandpuppy arrived last night for a visit. They brought oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies. The sister did some baking this morning - all kinds of chocolate sweets. They are for a party they are going to tomorrow but she kept offering different goodies. Not only did I not have any, I wasn't even tempted. For someone who used to have a terrible sweet tooth, I think that's a great sign that I have changed my lifestyle. My husband noticed and gave me lots of kudos.
We leave in just a few days for a vacation. My first 2013 goal was to be a certain weight by that time. I hit it this morning! I'm feeling so good about that. I'm excited to try on the clothes in my closet and figure out what to pack. I did this a few weeks ago with some happy results, so this should be fun since I've lost 4 pounds since then.
My goal for vacation is to do lots (daily) of walking, hiking, and swimming. I also plan to eat in a healthy way. I will be thrilled if I come back at the same weight, but I'll be gentle on myself if I have a little weight gain. I know it will be more difficult since I'm not in as much control of the cooking, but I also know how to deal with both the vacation and my return.
