ASSIGNMENT #3 WINTER CHALLENGE

Today's assignment is to list all the reasons you want to lose weight.
How do you want to look? I am 67 years old so I am not looking to be the same as I was when I was in my 40's but I don't think it is unrealistic to want to look healthy and fit for my age. I want to be able to fit into my clothes and have them fit loose not snug. I want to be able to carry my own groceries, walk a few miles, climb a mountain, golf, be able to swim laps, lift weights (3 SETS OF 10 lbs REPS over my head is good for me!) . I want to continue to do my 3 sets of 5 planks twice a week.
How do you want to feel? i want to feel awesome and healthy with no aches and pains within reason
What things will you be able to do in the future with a slimmer healthier body? I want to do everything in my power to keep myself healthy and live an independent life as I get older. I think about these things as I watch my Mother age and not be able to do many of these things. She is still living at home but needs lots of help in order to do that. I don't want that to happen to me if I can help it. I will do everything in my power to achieve that goal. It is up to me isn't it?
So I guess to sum it up it is all about living a healthy lifestyle which includes making sure I am eating properly and exercising daily. Too much sitting is so bad in all aspects of trying to achieve a healthy lifestyle.
So this challenge enforces LTGL and i am in it for the long run!
