We are getting close to starting the 5% Winter Challenge and there are many things whirling around in this old brain. In order to be a responsible teammate you need to be ready to do your part as a member of your designated team. So my first thought is are you ready to commit to the next eight weeks, no excuses? I am ready. Have you got rid of all the junk food that you no longer should eat or really don't want to eat? What I have in the pantry, DH and his buddies can consume. He is not doing the Challenge with me so I have to be strong and I can do this. Part of the challenge is exercising so what is my plan for that part? Well, I will go to the gym at least three times a week, will golf at least once a week and I think I will try hiking another day. Not sure if the hiking part will work but I am going to try. I am dealing with a few issues so this will be a test and hopefully it will work. There is a picture on my Spark page of me during a hike last spring. WhooHoo that was exciting for me to accomplish that. Now there is the diet and meal planning. For the most part I cook pretty healthy but I am going to commit to being much better......at least 90% of the time. We eat most of our meals at home so hopefully it continues like that. If not I will have to be careful with my choices. Now the hardest part will be with the company that will be staying with us. There are two separate groups coming during the eight weeks. Now this is going to be very difficult. But you know what? I can do this. I am important and sometimes my needs have to come first. I can be a good hostess and still look after me.
SO BRING IT ON..........I AM READY!!!!!
