One thing at a time

It seems that I can only work on one thing at a time. Well, maybe I am exaggerating.

I've been sticking to my plan and seem to have stalled again on losing weight. Other good things are happening, though. I was having a lot of trouble sleeping. I found myself wide awake at 3 am or later way too many nights, or if I did get to sleep at a decent hour I would wake up after sleeping about 2 hours. I tried to just be patient with it, and to continue to do the things I needed as far as exercising and eating right. I have just had two nights in a row where I went to bed at 11 pm and woke up at 7 am. I feel so good.

I've been continuing to go to the gym and am gradually adding more activity. I typically ride a stationary bike or use the treadmill for 45-60 minutes, continuously adding speed. I have been adding in swimming laps lately. I'm doing about 12 laps, and will add more as I feel stronger. This week, I am going to start taking a class twice a week. It is a low impact fitness workout, using balls, tubes, and hand weights.

Most importantly, I am feeling happy, energetic, hopeful, and excited about the changes in my life.
