Tell me if this is a good thing...

Sunday, December 30, 2012

This one is gonna be kind of long but I hope you will stay to read it.

So after I got off of work last night Hubby comes to pick me up saying we need to get a few groceries before going home. I said ok. We go in the store and I get me a bag of nacho chesse doritos (my fav) and Hunny gets himself something. We come home and I eat something that hubby for dinner, and it wasn't that great. But out of love and respect I ate it anyway.

Before bed a got a small handful of doritos and munched on them for a minute and layed down. Now mind you I still basically had a full bag of doritos. Well after I fell asleep hubby comes into the living room to watch tv and play on the computer, AND he ate my whole bag of doritos!

I woke up this morning to let my new chihuahua puppy put to use the bathroom, and when I came into the living room I almost had a fit! There it was my empty, flat, folded up dorito bag! I had only had a couple chips and that dang husband of mine ate my whole bag of chips. Maybe I should eat his bag of sour cream and onion chips but I'm better that I'm trying to lose weight, although a few chips won't hurt that much maybe I didn't need them but still it was the fact that they were mine, and what got me was, hubby don't even like doritos!

So tell me this was probably a good thing that he ate them? He knows I'm trying to lose weight, but dang I mean really I know we're married and we're pose to "share" everything but can't I atleast have my own bag of chips?

LOL, it's already in the past and probably not worth getting into a fight over, so I'd try to look at it as a good thing! And, good for you for just having a few in the first place, that can be hard to do. And, now you know -- if you have a bag of Doritos that you don't want him to eat, you need a better hiding place!

I think for the most part your DH did you a big favor. I can see though where you feel some boundaries got crossed....but chose to see it as a blessing in disguise.
To me, Doritos are like diet napalm I couldn't trust myself around them.
Have you heard of baked kale chips? I know it sounds weird but if you like chips you might try them.
    Have a beautiful day!
