Well I recorded my weight today, but I'm not sure I should count it because, being sick, I haven't really been following healthy eating. Well, sort of: I ate 900 healthy calories yesterday, but I should have eaten a bit more. Thank goodness I went a little bit over my allowance on Wednesday. (Wow! Never thought I'd say that.) Anyway, I've also done no exercise to speak of -- unless coughing counts as ab work, haha -- so I'm not sure that I can award myself the 25 pounds lost trophy.
My weight is 176.8 today. Yesterday it was 178.6. If my weight is still down on Monday, I will award myself the trophy then.
DH is working from home today so he has made me a smoothie for my first meal of the day. He has a special recipe for me that has fewer calories than the ones he makes for himself. I appreciate that, because his calorie allowance is so much higher than mine.
I suspect that a lot of the weight I lost overnight is water. Something about being sick makes my bladder more active, and I've been reluctant to encourage that by drinking too many liquids. (That being said, I seem to be making up for it today with a liquid breakfast -- I mean the protein smoothie, haha -- and a nice cup of tea.) That's why I think the weight will stabilize a bit higher tomorrow.
Aaaand that's enough about weight and sickness. TMI.
Canadian Thanksgiving is early this year, coming up on October 8. I'm not sure what my family has in mind to do, but we often gather at my sister's, or sometimes we go out for a meal. I'll have to see.
