Busy, Not Lazy, Saturday

I'm trying to break out of a slump and it's just frustrating sometimes. But I won't dwell on it too much, except to say that I am up a pound (!) over my lowest weight and I'm not too sure what is going on or how to change it.
The change of season is both wonderful (new clothes! a whole new look!) and not so wonderful. I do believe that the reduced hours of daylight affect me badly.
Going to the gym boosts my endorphins, so long as I can get to the gym. As in, make myself go when I might not feel like it. I went yesterday afternoon (a different location that is also covered by my membership -- so I changed things up a bit) and got up early with DH and went this morning. He wanted to try the spinning class, and I did a circuit of some weight machines, then did some cardio on the recumbent bicycle.
I tried a new machine today: ab crunches. It was not a comfortable thing for me, but something I need to work on, so I was happy to do it. I am hoping if I work on abs it will help trim my waist so my waist-to-hip size ratio doesn't change too much when the tape measure comes out. (Well, even if it doesn't help with that, it's still a good thing to work on.)
So anyway, it's still pretty early on a Saturday morning but I've been busy! I think I prefer that to having a lazy weekend.
Now I'm hungry from my workout and I need to go and get myself a second breakfast. (First was just a protein bar, so I'm good.)
