Family is everything to me.

Sunday, July 22, 2012

My daughter and her family came to visit for a few days from out of town. Gosh,
I needed that ! Since my brother passed in April and I've had so much to do in
regards to all of his things, I don't think I've hardly even cracked a smile lately.

Well, I had both of my daughters and kids all together at my house and we laughed
so much !!! I really needed that. I only wish my brother had married and had kids.
He missed alot.

Glad you have a close-ness in your family. After my folks died (last fall)...seems my siblings are not interested in keeping in touch.

Hard to believe that's what they want.....yet I keep calling, keep writing...in hopes they will have a "change of heart"....

It's nice to see family. They can be so helpful. I know when my Nana died, we all bonded together and supported each other. It meant a lot that the whole family came together.

I'm glad you got a respite from your grieving. A laugh with loved ones over shared stories - well, it just can't get better than that!

So glad you had a good time visiting with your daughters and grandkids. Smiling and laughing do go a long way to lifting our spirits.
