June is HERE!

Well its the middle of the year, school is out and summer is upon us. The last time I was on here was January and that was a very long time ago.
Sad to say I haven't lost any weight in the past 6 months not a good thing, but never the less I haven't given up.
I started drinking herbalife shakes Monday - June 18, 2012 and they are so delicious! 2 shakes to replace 2 meals and then one meal for the day. So far so good so we'll see what the end results will be. I'm hoping for the best. I'm so glad I haven't had to have any surgeriies lately (crossing my fingers). The last one was quite a scare. Had to have my gall bladder removed last year and the PAIN was not the business! So glad that was taken care of and I stopped eating a few foods that contributed to my pains last year: fried zucchini, fries, hamburgers (although I do eat hamburgers once in awhile), fried fish, onion rings to name a few. There was a point last year where I was eating all those foods weekly and well the PAIN is not worth those foods I use to love, so they're not part of my favorite food list anymore!
Now a days, I'm eating more grilled fish, chircken made in so many different ways vegetables and salads. I'm not perfect so sometimes I'll have something fried now and then, but for the most part I'm doing Ok, but I haven't lost any weight. So here's to starting up again and trying to have the"I want to lose weight" attitude! CHARGE...haha:) I have started walking but not on a continuous basis, but that will soon change. I have to make day by day changes and then I will see results, but as Rome was not built in one day, neither are results from starting a healthier diet! Everything has its place and time and starting right and doing it the right way will benefit me in the long run...So here's to a NEW START -AGAIN!!
