DIY 2.0 Challenge End Plate

My Challenge Name: Who's Your VIP?

My Starting Weight: 217
My Finishing Weight: 217

Four (or more) Other things I measured during this challenge & their current stats: (re-measure whatever stats you started with)

1. Max pushups
Start: 2
Finish: 12
I didn't follow the 100pushup challenge like I wanted to, but I've made improvement!

2. Waist:
Start: 47"
Finish: 45.5"
Difference: -1.5" (really? wow.)

3. Hips:
Start: 48.5"
Finish: 48.5"
Difference: no change. I have a hard time making this one change.

4. Bust:
Start: 42"
Finish: 41.5"
Difference: -0.5" (of course my chest will shrink, even if nothing else does :)

When I first started this challenge, I thought that...I could force myself to eat right and workout, I just need more willpower... but now I've learned that ...I need to pay attention to what I need, period, and that includes more sleep, more social time, etc.

I already knew that ...deadlines...motivate me, but now I've learned that ________ motivates me even more.

The thing that I accomplished during this challenge and am MOST PROUD OF is ...I'm still trying...a lot of the time lately I've felt like giving up...on exercise, food, finances...it all feels like too much lately and nothing I do makes a difference....but then I pick myself back up and realize every choice has a consequence, and those cause/effects add up.

Something I didn't expect from this challenge was...to really realize forcing exercise and strict dietary expectations on myself is really just adding to my already crazy stressful life sometimes...I've got to make being active fun and part of my life, but forcing crazy hard workouts is not always the way to go...and sometimes, yes, sleep is more important than a workout to my wellbeing. I need to make improvement, I need to get in shape, I need to lose weight...but I need to balance things. All things.

This challenge may be ending, but I am not stopping... I'm going to swallow my fear and set a goal to keep working on my daily habits, keep increasing my water intake, keep making positive lateral shifts and improvements in my diet, spend less time on the internet/watching tv.

Make a statement declaring your commitment to continue: I freaking matter! I will continue to work on making myself healthy, happy, fit, and resilient!
