DIY 2.0 Assignment 11 (6/8 - 6/10)
Challenge Name: Who's Your VIP?

1. At some point this weekend, you will be staring down a workout that you just do not want to do AT ALL. Your assignment is to get it done anyway. This weekend, your excuses are out of town.
-This was my Friday. I slept in and missed my workout, was almost late to work. Worked thru lunch to meet a deadline (so no lunchtime workout). Got home and got the kiddo, pretty much decided the day was a bust for working out...then the KIDDO wants to go for a walk. I half tried to talk him out of it. NO MOM, I want to go for a walk. Ok. We can go on a short one. I let him set the pace and decide when to turn around. Played some I Spy, talked about everything under the sun and 50 minutes later made it back to the house. Now THAT'S my kind of workout.

2. Go one step further and SURPRISE yourself by going above and beyond. This does not mean jumping from a 5K to a marathon. Just.... surprise yourself, somehow, and be prepared to share the excitement and pride in your achievement.
-Can I claim Friday for this one too? Sat & Sun were pretty much a bust. DH broke his hand, we spent Saturday getting it Xrayed at urgent care, then went to my brother-in-law's birthday party at the campground and ended up camping. Sort of spent Sunday recovering. emoticon

3. Eat beautifully.
-I did pretty good the week before this...not so much over the weekend. I did have some really fantastic smoked pork. Yum!
