Friday, June 15, 2012

So this am I get on the scale and I am now up like 3lbs. And why is that??? I have been following this new eating plan and I am gaining weight. I also miss my coffee and oatmeal. I was losing wt just counting calories so I have decides to Just count! I will add more living things to my calories but not like the last few days. Not sure if I was just not eating enough??
Today I am hoping to get some out side work done!

Keep thinking it through. Keep being mindful.
If you find the numbers being too traumatic, take a break from weighing in. You are making healthy changes! You are a healthier you! You will get where you want to go!

I weigh every day and it can ruin my day sometimes. I have had a bad few weeks dealing with injuries from a car accident which limited my ability to exercise. My meals were all brought in by church people. Most of them were good, but my weight did go up a little.
Today is the first day I have seen a drop in over a month.
I am thinking if I am eating well and I weigh myself and have gone down I should not weigh for a week. If I have stayed the same I should weigh again in a couple of days and if I have gone up I should weigh every day. This may be obsessive, I don't know.

don't let this discourage you... there will be days the scale does go up for NO reason... are you taking measurements? If so, are those staying the same or going down?
There are so many things that can make your weight go up (and then back down just as fast) I know I'm not supposed to weigh daily, but the last few weeks I have been and its really been interesting watching the scale go up/down/up/down ect. LOL Before I only weighed on Mondays - but I'm glad I've been doing the daily now as I think its even more encouraging watching all those ups/downs instead of just seeing the once weekly (doing that and if it were an "up day" I would get more upset than I am now seeing the up/downs all the time)
