I love the Reese's PB eggs. I got a couple of them in the post-Easter sale. I have eaten one a day the last couple days.
Easter basket was garden stuff, which I persuaded him the bunny might bring and got him begging the Easter Bunny for garden gloves and trowels and seeds.. And so he was happy when he got that! WOOHOO Mommy! I did give him one Lindt chocolate bunny and one small bag (candy bar sized) of mini Cadbury solid chocolate eggs.
OH yes, and I did my first official 5K ("Fun Run") on Saturday - walking. My son did the Kid's Fun Run - 1/2 mile. 3294 days ago
LMAO im litterally BURSTING out loud laughing! I do the SAME THING with the candy draw! I let the kids pick 1-2 pieces AFTER DINNER, so they need something nutritious before eating all the sugar :) Its harder with my 3 yr old, because my husband apparently thinks she needs to "experience" all the typical goodie things! REALLY?! she looks identical to me, and im SO SCARED she will end up with my body type.... a few weeks back, she looked like she was getting a belly, i dont ever say anything about it, because i know at this age weight REALLY flucuates. So my husband the jerk that he is came in before i got her in a bath and says "look at the belly your getting" UMMMM NOOOOOOO!!!! DONT EVER SAY THAT TO HER! NOT EVER AGAIN! I dont want her to grow up SELF CONSCIENCE of herself! She deserves better then to think shes fat because shes not! The dr said shes VERY SLIGHTLY above average in weight for her age, but shes above average in height as well lol. So i try so hard to tone down the "treats", she loves fruit too- I plan on making these cupcakes, from this website called SkinnyTaste, for the most part its recipes that are changed or created to lower cals, carbs, fat etc. I thought it would be fun to make them! Im undecided whether or not im coloring eggs with the kids tomorrow or saturday. Might be tomorrow! But im working out tomorrow, and Saturday for sure. I havent had a rest day , so i purposely decided to workout saturday instead of Sunday this week. But i might still TRY to get in a small workout. :)
