Thanking HIM for things to come...

Monday, April 02, 2012

Hello My SP Family!

I just wanted to be a blessing to you all and share a book that I’m reading. It is titled Releasing the Ability of God through Prayer. I’m thanking Jesus for the power derived from him. This book is truly something any child of God needs to move through any situation with ease, peace and understanding. The key is FAITH! If anyone has read it or plans to pick it up, I would love to discuss it with you. I am on chapter 6 and I can’t put it down! Learning how to apply spiritual law to my life is only the beginning of my transformation. I’ve learned my weight is truly a scapegoat for feelings and pain I have held on to for years. Prayer is about more than asking The Lord for earthy things. It’s about building a solid relationship that enables him to intervene on your behalf in both the spirit and earth realms. What a beautiful thing….to accept it, understand it, and believe it! I won’t keep you long…if you have any questions or just want to fellowship please feel free to say hi =)

Isn't it interesting how quickly we forget gratitude. In Him all is possible. So, I had this amazing realization this week. God is all of us, and we are God. I asked myself, "If God was coming to dinner, what would I feed Him". Would it be junk, unhealthy, over-processed, more then he needs? Or would it be clean, healthy and nourishing? So if I am God, what am I feeding him for dinner? Simplified I know, but, if I am God, if He is inside all of us, what am I feeding Him for dinner? I hope I am expressing what I mean. Now, every time I make a food choice, I ask myself, "Would I feed this to God?" Love yourself as you would the Lord. HUGS to you dear SP friend.
