That's my calorie differential over time chart for the weeks since I started doing the whole SP thing. With weight loss data added. (I don't record when it goes up, just down. Hence the many empty weeks.)

But can you spot the week where zombies run! was released? :P

It's frustrating. Biology and evolution have given me a pattern seeking brain. One that can see faces on the moon and mythological figures on a grilled cheese sandwich.

But it fails finding a pattern here.

We all find our motivation somewhere. Yours is running from Zombies.

When people look at you funny just remind them that you dont have to outrun the zombies. You just have to outrun THEM.

Forget pareidolia, it's not for the like of us. Bottom line, you're thinner and wearing pants around your waste to keep other pants from falling ;) I'd say, that's at good (?) sign LoL

I've started to wonder if the reason I can't find a pattern is that I focus on "this week" to "this week" comparisons. What if a good week pays off in two weeks, instead of that same week or the one after? I know that when I overeat, I often don't see scale movement, and then I get happy about myself. Sadly though, a week or two later, when I'm being "good" I get frustrated with a gain. I'm starting to think this offset is what makes pattern finding so tough in weightloss.

Lots of losses on that chart though, and I love the fitness since zombies!!!

How the heck did you create that chart? If you have a template, I totally want it-- seeing it all laid out like that, in front of you, is very inspiring-- it's a beautiful picture of progress!
