Thursday, March 15, 2012

Wow! I have not been on sparks for quite some time.

Been bussy, I took on a job of manageing a restraunt, that we are working on getting up and running, I'm hoping to have our grand opening the 19th of March. There is still things to get in order to open the doors.
But I'm excited, and keeping a postive outlook on it all..

I plan to start a round of the HCG diet, when we get the restraunt up and running, as I will be waitressing and it will be easyer, as I wont spend every day in the kitchen cooking, like before...

I hope you all are doing well..
Take care ...

As always it is so good to hear from you,and how you are doing.

Don't get to see my grand babies as much as I would like, but that's how life works some times.
Glad you get to see and spoil your's. 10 mos, wow hard to belive he is that old already, My grand son willbe 2 in July, and my Grand Daughter is 4 mos old now, but havent seeen them since Thanks Giving.
Sound's like selling your mom's house was for the best, and a lot less stressfull.
We are still renting out the house in Challis, The guy who installed the carpet is renting it from us, for nearly a year now,and so far been good about paying his rent on time, I was a little nervous about renting to him as he is young, 24 yrs old, and a batchlor, usually their not that reoliable. but so far so good.LoL..

I'm so anxious for Spring to come, better weather mean's more people out and about which will help with the restraunt buisness susceeding..And yes I'm a people person, love to meet people and make friends.

    Take care,and keep in touch.

    Hi Shawna,
So nice to hear from you! It sounds like you are really busy getting this place ready to open. I am sure you will like not being in the kitchen this time. You seem like a "people" person and would rather be out where you can see people not just stuck in the kitchen. I hope everything works out for you.

I hope your family are all doing good and you are getting to see all of them every now and then.

Things are going good with me. I am still keeping my grandson (10 months now!) 3 days a week. It keeps me busy and outta trouble! LOL I love being a grandma and he is growing so fast. My daughter in law is a different story tho. LOL We just have a totally different style of taking care of him. I try my best to do it the way she wants it done but I think she needs to "pick her battles" sometimes. We will work it all out tho! I have to keep remembering she is a first time mom and you know how they are. LOL I have raised two kids and I am a little more relaxed about things.

I have been kind of stuck weight-wise since Christmas. I havent gained or lost so I am happy. I think my mind just needed to catch up with my body and needed a rest! I will start making a better effort soon to lose my last 50lbs.

I dont know if you remember me asking you about advice on renting out my mom house last spring. We were working on fixing it up and my sister got tired of doing that so I didnt have any help and it was hard to do by myself. So we talked my mom into selling it instead. We finally found someone to buy it in January so that stress is off of me. I was having to go up there 2hrs away every weekend and work on fixing it up so i am relieved I dont have to do that anymore. And my mom will have a little money to take care of herself for the rest of her life.

I miss talking with you but I understand that we are both busy. LOL Take care and drop in every now and then and let us hear from you! Hugs!
