Feeling pretty good about my weekend...

Good Afternoon, Spark Friends!
I had a pretty good weekend, how about you?
My husband and I had our usual "date-night" with take-out Chinese and a DVD movie on Friday evening. I felt good about my meal because I ordered steamed rice, not fried and put a serving of the entrée and rice on my plate and the rest in the fridge for another meal. My husband and I split an egg roll, and each had one crab rangoon. This seems to be very satisfying, I feel like I'm having a great treat, but I don't feel ill later!! My husband even put part of his entrée away for another meal...
I went over my calories by maybe 50 on Friday, and stayed within my range on Saturday and Sunday. I decided to not eat cookies, cake, candy and the like during Lent...this isn't like a requirement of my faith or anything...I just like the idea of thinking of God, talking to Him when I'm craving something that really isn't so good for me. Maybe this will be the missing piece to achieve balance in my sweet treats...I'll let you know if it helps! I'm still craving those darn cookies...but reaching for fruit, or a more healthful snack.
I tried the free yoga class at my local library on Saturday. I enjoyed the class because it was pretty relaxing, and my classmates were friendly, and made me feel welcome. I had a couple sore muscle areas on Sunday, but not bad at all. It's not easy for me to try new social situations, so this was a victory for me!
I also got one of "The Biggest Loser" workout DVD's when I was at the library. I've done it a couple of times and like it for variety.
I'm aiming for a great week of staying within my calories and giving my body good nutrition. I'm also planning to stick with my strength training and cardio routine, and of course those daily walks with my faithful dog, Lucy!!!
Wishing everyone a healthy week!
