Is It Just Me?

Tuesday, February 28, 2012

When I see blogs about the great weight loss people have made, I always click and read and then go check out their spark page. I'm so disappointed to learn that those same people who have lost so much weight (and who people want all this advice from) are eating 1000-1200 calories a day and are working out 5-6 days a week! Those two things do NOT add up and that IS NOT SUSTAINABLE.

Is it just me or are other people upset by this?!

note: This obviously does not apply to everyone who has lost a significant amount of weight, I know people out there are doing great stuff!

You know what will work for you .. I never eat less that 1800-2000 calories a day ... but I have been having trouble getting to the gym this month! That will change in March .. but like most people will tell you ... Start small .. create good habits and build on them!

You're right, it isn't sustainable. I haven't found that a lot, but I also don't typically read the blogs of people who are losing huge amounts of weight. I'm bitter and jaded, I guess and just expect them to not be inspiring. Which just sound backwards when I type it "out loud."

I work out 5-6 days each week, but I never lost weight until I started eating 2000 calories. If I eat any less then I don't lose.

You're not alone, I'm eating better and exercising and the scale is giving me so few love as you can't (well maybe you can) imagine...

I guess it just takes time...

I'm not losing but at least I feel better and I'm shrinking..

    Good Luck!
