Feb 2012 Week 15

A - ACTIVITY - I cannot tell a lie - I love tv & computers BUT now LOVE being Active too!!
B - BRUSSEL SPROUTS & BLUEBERRIES - major favorites on my menu
C - CARBS - Cut WAY down and I don't miss them.
E - EXERCISE - Have included a nice variety into my daily options
F - FORGIVENESS - pick myself up - brush myself off - and start ANEW
G - GOALS - keep them small and attainable and top of mind
H - HEALTH - schedule check-ups, stay within goals, stay safe
I - INSPIRATION - include inspirational and motivational stories and quotes to stay focused
J - JOURNEY - it's not a race - it's the path - enjoy the distance
K - KITCHEN skills - learning to add new foods and spices to the menu
L - LOGGING in SparkPoints for Calories in Calories Burned
M - MOTIVATION - becoming the best, healthiest I can be to maintain healthy independence
N - NUTRITION - what an exciting part of the journey with wonderful foods
O - OPTOMISTIC - goals will be met, victories will be achieved, struggles will be conquered
P - PORTIONS - learn and keep to appropriate amounts to stay on track with little effort
Q - QUOTAS - I will maintain healthy levels of fats, carbs, protein, fiber, salts
R - RECORD - and journal my choices, struggles, successes
S - SLEEP - my main struggle - I fight it and I don't know why. I MUST embrace it.
T - TODAY is a new day - a new route - fresh choices to be made - make wise ones
U - URGES - I'm learning coping skills to overcome urges towards overeating, snacking, & laziness
V - VISION - keep the Vision Board in front of me to journey towards my goals
W - WATER - truly my best friend - but its easy to get behind - must keep track
X - X out those daily points and goals - one step and calorie at a time
Y - YESTERDAY is over and I am not going backwards, and I'm leaving baggage behind
Z - ZUMBA - brings such a feeling of satisfaction and achievement - my new LOVE
