Good Morning..

thanks to everyone for your kind words, support and advice..you are the best SparkBuddies anyone could ever ask for!!

So we are at a resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, at an inn that definitely is not made for the early risers that my family is. You can't even get a cup of coffee inside this place before 7 am. DH was up at 5:30 talking about going out to look for coffee..yikes! I couldn't get into the exercise room before 7 am, the larger health club facility that we also have access to doesn't open unitl 8:30!! Yikes!!

But, as I sit here at 8:38 am, I have already exercised, we have had breakfast, and are planning our day. So all is well..

I ate pretty well yesterday.. I find that my problem with eating is definitely more snacking than meals, and I did not snack much at all, so that is good

So off I go to enjoy this day of relaxing..two hockey games and who only knows what else.. This is pretty cool.

I am back from FL and finally catching up on spark this evening...
I hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend. I am proud of you for getting your exercise in and doing your thing around "their" schedule.

I also read your doctor blog about the knee... if you think he's the best, then I don't think you could have handled it better. Though you know I have docs in my life, one in particular, that I am very fond of, I have dealt with my share of idiots on behalf of my mom and my kids.

Sadly, while I do not doubt for one minute the bias against bigger patients, it doesn't stop there. When my mom was seeing a renowned endocrinologist she had complained about how he was treating her, and my dad was about as much help as if a priest had been condescending so I went. Sadly, I had forgotten a notepad, but did take notes in my checkbook register. My mom asked a question about something he said and he said, "I didn't say that." I flipped back in my notes (in the official looking register) and said, "YOU SAID, ....." and quoted him verbatim. He said, "Oh, well that's not what I meant. I meant..." My mom didn't see him any more, and soon after that he was asked to leave the hospital and went solely into research where he obviously belonged any way.

I think it's the same "God" complex that some politicians, entertainers and athletes suffer from.

Well... you need a bit a R n' R, my friend, so the inconvenience of those exercise rooms could be just what you need to s.l.o.w. down & the coffee?!! That's a bit much on the coffee not being brewed, but perhaps you could pick up a small drip coffee machine & brew your own. You could talk to the manager & see if they'll give you a 'pass' into the workout rooms earlier- - - what can he/she say? NO? It's not like we haven't heard that b4, but the point is... you got 'er DONE, & you can go have some *F*U*N*

Ya' know, that snackage problem may be (mostly) home related. Perhaps while you're out of the house (kind a' like, you can't see the forest for the trees) you might be able to *see* a bit clearer & pinpoint a few changes in the house that sabotage you.

Now, off you go, T, & do have the most wonderful of times!! emoticon
