A Lightbulb Moment

I'm going to stay at a spa for the next six days! I won't be traveling to any fancy place or spending tons of money. I will be at home but it will be a spa experience as much as I can make it so.

My husband is out of town until next week and once again I am wandering around like a lost puppy not knowing what to do with myself. Of course I have the dogs and the house to care for but nothing else.

Suddenly it hit me. How many times have I wished to be someplace where I don't have to worry about anything else. I can exercise and meditate everyday. I eat nothing but nourishing, delicious, fresh food. I can have a facial, manicure, pedicure, etc. I can turn off the noise of the television and read or nap if I need to. That's when I decided that this week my home will be a spa.

I have my pitcher of lemon water in the fridge and will drink out of my "good" glasses. I have my meals planned and have turned off the television. I will have to make a trip to CVS for a new bottle of nail polish and the grocery store for some fresh salad fixings. I have my treadmill and spinning bike along with swiss ball and mat ready for my workout. Bottom line, I wasn't feeling good about myself and realized I just haven't been showing myself much love lately.

I'm excited for my stay at the "spa"!
