Road Trip - GPS is now set to 140s land (again!)...
Saturday, February 04, 2012
I am now in my brand new February car! I fix the rear view mirror - so I can look back and see where I am coming from; where I don't want to go back to...a reminder to me! I am going forward but sometimes it is good to remember!
I check the gas gauge...will need to refuel on the way with sleep and rest days but that is fine! I check the brakes, they are firm and will be necessary as self check and reflection are critical components on this road trip!
I fasten my seat belt! Safety and proper form will be important as the road will be filled with Insanity and Supreme 90 challenges! Bumpy road ahead!
I set the GPS to 140s land.
It will be a difficult journey that might be filled with potholes of missed workouts or bad eating, corners of disappointment, difficult hills but I will steer the course!
I won't be carrying my scale on this trip to prevent daily weigh-in; will stop off once a month and use one where I land. A tape measure is a must! Biweekly measurements and the fit test will keep me accountable!
I am going to try the new shakeology when it comes out on Feb 14, 2012; nutrition will be important on this trip; I have to be alert. After all; I am the driver...no one can drive this car...so no accidents! Eating clean and within calorie goals are a must!
I will carry passengers who will provide support and kind words but they can't drive for me as the insurance on the car does not cover additional drivers. The policewoman (my beachbody coach) has 'warned' me that if I speed or falter, she will issue a warning or a ticket so I will take rest stops once a week and listen to my body; driving tired won't make sense. I want to make it to my destination safely; lighter but safe.
Any takers for the front passenger seat?? Let's do this!
