The journey continues

Ok....so i just looked at my spark page for the first time in ages and realized that a lot has changed since i wrote my introduction. I am no longer a 40 something mom. i am now 50 and striving to stay healthy and active in order to maximize my ability to enjoy this phase in my life. I have been on my trip to Ireland, Scotland, and England and had a wonderful time with my son. Lost 20lb's prior to the trip and then gained 11 of them back afterwards because i lost track of the ulitmate goal.....get and stay healthy.
So we start a new journey. January 1st i recommitted to this wieght loss journey. I am up at 4am and excercising at least 5 days/week. have restarted on the 17dd and am SLOWLY losing. That part is discouraging as the weight came off much faster last time but i also didn't excercise last time. My short term goal is to lose another 10lbs prior to my vacation at the end of March but the ultimate goal is to get fit and remain that way.....that is an ongoing goal, not one that will end when vacation is over. I feel better, my husband says he can notice changes even though i have only lost 6 lbs, but i have lost several inches as well so maybe he does see something??? This is something i have to do and will do....not for my husband, my kids,or anyone else but for me. Lets see where this journey takes me this time.
