Having a meltdown.

Tuesday, January 10, 2012

Sorry for the downer friends, but in the past 2 days, i've had 3 meltdowns. Work is so stressful, i cant even explain it except to say that they are going to be loading me up EVEN MORE, and when I tried to talk to my supervisor about it, i got my head chewed off. UGH.

The result? Binge eating, crying, not exercising, tossing and turning all night.

Just posting a blog to let you all know I'm here. I have to miraculousy get through the next two days, then not a minute too soon, I'm off to AZ for the rock n roll half marathon. THANK GOD i have that to look forward to!

Tomorrow will be, my best guess, a 16 hour work day. Will I exercise after? HIGHLY doubt. Will I eat great? Will do my best!

Keep me in your prayers friends, I've never quite felt this stressed. emoticon

So sorry to hear about your crappy first two days this week, but I hope by today you are so excited for AZ that you ignore all the negatives around you!! Meltdowns suck, but seriously sometimes they are good for us... sounds dumb I know, but sometimes crying/screaming/stomping around helps relieve stress.

Good luck in AZ!!! Let work roll of your shoulders tomorrow and focus completely on yourself!

Pardon my french, but thank G-d you can run that sh!t, I mean stress, off. So glad you have an outlet. As for the work...help me understand so I can help you strategize. Are they things due all at once? Deadlines that occur over a period of time or are they recurring? Whoever delegates the work to you MUST prioritize it. This is how you will address the tasks, and you must find peace in what you can accomplish and know that you can address more the next day. Your boss yelling at you is not acceptable...so if you continue to have problems then get HR involved. I cannot work with people who yell. Like my Daddy always said...and I chant this often 'you can what you can...and what you can't, you can (as in trashcan)'. emoticon

Sorry to hear that work is so pressurised. Sounds like your supervisor is just as pressured behaving that way towards you. Remember to take deep breaths and refocus on something calm regularly to get through the next two days. Have a wonderful weekend in AZ. Sending you hugs.

Mackenzie - I feel for you and I am sorry to hear you are having such a tough week. It is very unfortunate that you are not being encouraged at work for your extra efforts -- what a de-motivator! Hang in there! I'm sending a big hug your way...

Oh, I"m so sorry friend. This should be a good week for you, right before you get to leave. Instead, those mean people are being mean to my friend. Hoping tomorrow and Thursday aren't too crazy. Just keep thinking about Arizona and you'll get through it. Wish I was going with you, but, I know you're going to do great. Can't wait to hear all about it. It won't top our first half together, but......
