Still goin strong!

Hi my friends
So, yesterday was a 15 hr workday (woke up at 3:30 am, didnt get home til 8pm) so i'm fessing up, I didnt work out. HOWEVER, I have worked out every single day since last friday! I feel fantastic about that. And, I didnt go nuts with calories, so I still call yesterday a success..

Today, was a great day.

I woke up, grabbed some breakfast and then headed to see my personal trainer, George. He worked me TOUGH today, and I ended up burning 310 calories in 45 minutes, and that doesnt include any cardio! I'm telling you, he got the TRX suspension training system, and it is a KILLER. I love it. It completely pushes me to my limit. After I left George, I saw how absolutely BEAUTIFUL and warm it was out, and decided i would drive to the Back Bay Reserve and go for a run. When I first started out, I was only going to go 20 minutes, but it ended up being a 42 minute run and I burned 465 calories!!! WOOT WOOT. Its crazy, my new calorie burn "norm" seems to be 700! I love it.

After my amazing run (so amazing out), I went to the grocery store, ran errands etc. Nothing too exciting! I had Daphnes greek for lunch, and a turkey burger for dinner. I think im going to treat myself to frozen yogurt for dessert. YUUUUM!

Next friday is my trip to AZ to do the Rock N Roll half there in Phoenix. I'm flying in early friday morning, I'm not renting a car or a hotel, instead my friend is picking me up and I'm staying with her. I'm excited!!! I havent seen her in YEARS. I know its going to be a great weekend, and hopefully a great run! I'll do my best to remember to take pics! :)

I have to toot my horn for a minute..I am definitely proud of myself for turning things around like I said I would once the new year came. Working out daily (or almost daily) and keeping my eating in check, has really helped with my sanity and happiness. And, I think im getting addicted to those endorphins!!!!!!

Not sure what tomorrow will bring me, but am thinking a run outside and then maybe zumba or turbo kickboxing..we'll see! Stay tuned!

    You're doing great. I can't believe your half is next weekend. Feeling a little jealous!! I have to sign up for one in March. Got to start looking. Have a great weekend!!
