Great 2nd Day!

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Not as eventful as my New Years, but still a good one!!
Took my time in the morning, had a good breakfast. Did things around the house, then headed for the gym. I wanted to burn 500 calories, so with that goal in mind I headed inside.
I walked in and it was PACKED! I've NEVER seen it like that! But, thankfully, it is a BIG gym, so I was able to snag the last treadmill..phew! Got on there, and did a walk/jog combo, trying to be nice to my knee since I've been running every single day. It worked great, and in 35 minutes, I burned a little over 500 calories (i ran on an incline), and ran about 3.3 miles!
It was about noon at that point, and I saw that a Zumba class was about to start. I tried Zumba over a year ago, and I looked ridiculous, but I thought id give it another shot. Since I was already at 500 calories, I told myself id stay until I burned 700..Okay..the music starts and..I'M TERRIBLE! I look ridiculous, I can barely see the instructor so I cant tell what her feet are doing but..I HAD FUN! Unlike the last time, I just danced my crazy dances, and had a good time. I relaxed, and let myself just enjoy the music and the energy in the room. I stayed for a good 30 minutes (maybe a little more) but I burned 715 calories total for both workouts! I would have stayed longer but the moves were getting crazy, and I was getting hungry.
Left the gym, and headed to panera. Had half a sandwich and cup of soup. I was starving but my stomach didnt want all that food! Ate what I could, went to the market and loaded up on fruit and lunch meat for the work week.
The rest of the day was uneventful, and I'm good with that. I had a happy, healthy day full of exercise. Proud of myself for burning that much!
Now today..is a sad day. Back at work :( only for 3 days, but I will hit over 40 hours because they are completely SLAMMING me. I am going to do my best to get to the gym, but who knows how much energy I will have to work out. UGGGGH. So over my job. It completely takes over my week.
Anyway, have a happy healthy 3rd day of the year my friends. Stay strong, and burn those calories!!
