Day 7 Accountability...a winner!

Tuesday, November 01, 2011

Probably my best Halloween for being reasonable about goodies in recent history!

I stayed within my calorie range for the day and ate good foods at all my meals. I enjoyed the sunshine and raked leaves for an hour and a half and walked/ran twice with my dog. I also did some heavy cleaning today. I didn't obsess that I should have run more today.

We had a little spontaneous party in my driveway with several neighbors and our dogs! We live in a court, so we just pooled our goodies and gave them out together. I only had 3 oz of red wine, a fun-size Swedish Fish (4 fish, love those suckers!), and the mini-size Snickers my neighbor forced on me...I feel good about enjoying the time with my neighbors and husband without being a glutton...funny how such a little thing can make me feel like I can sustain a healthy weight and attitude towards food.

Thanks for reading! Blogging daily to stay on track seems to be a big help, so I'm going to keep on doing it for now. Thanks for bearing with me!

Congrats on making it through the dreaded Halloween temptations! I've just started blogging daily and can already see the HUGE advantage to putting it all out there. It's like having an imaginary army of people watching everything I do.

I'm looking forward to reading more about your experiences!

Way to go on a successful Halloween my friend! That's fantastic. Yes, it is important to bond with neighbors and friends. Your blogging is awesome, and it is actually getting me to want to do it more, but I need to do it when I don't have my 2 year old grandson, which I will have him again this week, which I absolutely love, but I am a bit slow on the computer and need to get my thoughts in order. I tend to ramble at times, hee hee. What a great job on the goodies and with exercise!! Way to go!! Woo Hoo!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Daily blogging is helping me a lot, glad it's working for you too! I made it through the day without a single piece of candy, though I had pizza for dinner which I like way more than candy so that probably helped.
