Acknowledging your bad days is important too. It means you're still paying attention and haven't given up.

Whoops!! Don't forget you have the choice to go waaay over or not so if it's your own conscious choice then there is "no harm no foul" but if it's a "opps can't believe I did that" and you were unaware, I would highly recommend you tracking your food BEFORE you eat it. I do it all the time so that I am never or at least hardly ever in the position of tracking after the fact and feeling like I've blown it...if I blow it, it is because I made a choice and I am certainly not going to feel bad about it. I think that is also a big part of our accountability..it's accountability to ourselves...it's not like we eat something with 10,000 calories and then we tap ourselves on the shoulder AFTER the fact and say "hey, did you know how many calories that was..."..we live with ourselves every single second of the day so what we put in our own mouths should NEVER surprise us....Keep on going friend, praise the Lord for new mercies everyday.

You may be down, but not out! Believe me, this has happened to me time and time again my the past year with Spark. I feel like I've found my groove, I feel good about what I'm doing and BAM! The next day it's gone. The good thing is, if you are truly mentally prepared to achieve your goal, which I believe you are, then you'll do whatever it takes to do that. Accept your setbacks, no matter how long they last or how bad it gets, then when you're ready, start again. I've been out of sync for weeks now, but have given myself permission since it takes the stress off and I know what I do when I'm a stress eater! Not pretty! I'm slowly rediscovering things about my poor eating habits and also realizing "that" kind of food in "those" amounts only leaves me feeling heavy, bloated, full....but not satisfied. November is a new month, and you'll be seeing new goals and a new attitude by then! Won't you join me?
