Progress? You bet!

So I've been on Spark People regularly for 4 months todayish...and I'm taking a look at progress...I measured myself about a week ago for my monthly measurements and there was zero change
. I had thought there might be, so I was disappointed. My weight was maybe a bit lower...I weigh every day because I can really easily tell myself it's ok to cheat....my goal date was October 1st, and I didn't meet it...sooooo...
I've been doing a lot of thinking about what is right for me...how motivated am I...etc...and I realized I am pretty happy with my weight and I'm VERY happy with my fitness level! I've been noticing how much easier it is to do push-ups now that I'm strength training 3 times a week. I've noticed that I keep having to increase the weight I lift to "feel" the exercise. I've noticed my elbows don't hurt anymore, or my knees...(most days!)
I started running by accident last week, and I've run 5 times and it's getting easier each time.
So yes, I'm making progress. Do I still need to do some work? Yes, absolutely. To be honest, I've been slacking about tracking...I write it down, but don't get on SP to track until the next day sometimes...and that allows me to think I have some calories left and indulge in a treat after dinner for a snack, or a bigger portion of my healthy dinner.
The biggest improvement I've seen in myself is that I'm not going all negative about myself and my eating and my body. I'm trying to treat my body like a friend, and I'm a pretty good friend. So, I'm going to continue to work on my relationship with my body and my eating. I'll get there.
