In a funk

Since I received news that my sister has a brain tumor I have been in a funk. I can't seem to motivate my self to do anything. I have been eating over my calories, not exercising....you know the drill. Today we learned she will be seeking another opinion but knows she will have to have surgery.

Giving the news to my kids and in-laws, I kept saying thank god she is so healthy otherwise. She works out, eats right...all the things I haven't done for the past 3 days. She has had the healthy lifestyle forever!!!

She didn't have a choice on whether she got a brain tumor, but I DO have the choice for a healthier lifestyle!!

So, instead of crying and being in this funk, I am going to beat her brain tumor out with exercise and good healthy food.

Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to have a new outlook for myself.
