Very nicely put! It's me word for word! Like it was written just for me. Perfect for today as I celebrate me, and continue to love myself more and more.
"Reaching out it seems so far away. Taking steps to move closer and closer I move. I want it to happen over night, or even by the end of the day.
Loving myself is what I need. Striving to get to who I want to be. And glance at the mirror the reflection is not what I had planned. It's time for change, but who will give me a hand.
This journey starts and I'm the only one going. A push, a word, encouragement is what need. Knowing I'm going down the right path. How did I get here and which way is the one back.
Days have passed and things have changed. Peeking at my reflection I see what I expect. Love myself is what I need. But how? Passing foot steps on my path I follow where they lead.
The foot steps lead to what I have needed. The thing I longed for on my path. A search for something new something that pulls out the me with inside. Where has this been why did it take so long to find this me within.
I see the reflection it's changed so much. Others can't help but notice. They all see the change and tell what they think. But it's still the old face looking back at me.
The foot steps I once followed are now behind me pushing me. Coaching me to the next step daily. The voice that is speaking is soft and sweet, but the words are strong and powerful and move me on my feet.
Looking in the mirror I look for the me inside. The love for me is not far behind. What do I love about me it hard say these words. I'm not where I want to be.
I stumble trip I fall, but it's the leading way that encourages me all the way. The one pathway I once follow lead to a wide open space. No need to stick to one way when I can take many that makes me stronger.
Going to the mirror now I see what I have done. The love is coming out of me much more than I have know. I see the path around me now making me who I am. I love the path that has brought me here, I wouldn't change a thing.
The things in this life we try to change are nothing more than a step a way. A way of thinking. A way of believing. A way of loving. A way of walking. First you have to love yourself so you can let others love you more. You never know where the love will come from, but always welcome it with open arms."
