I had a great time Saturday! DD, DGS, DGS's fiancé and I walked in the 5K Susan Komen Walk for breast cancer (with about 10,000 other people). We walked about a mile from where we had to park to the starting line...so I figure we walked at least 4.1 miles.

I "led the pack" of the 4 of us as DD said. It was much easier this year than last.....I could have gone farther. Think it was because I was carrying 32 lbs. less than last year????

Will post pictures when I get them from DD and DGS.
After the walk we went downtown to the Boardwalk (shopping center by the river), shopped a little and ate. Wonderful day in all.
DH is doing well. He saw the surgeon last week for the 1st time since he had the ablation of 3 veins in his legs. Tests showed everything was fine. He has to wear compression hose 24/7 for the next 3 weeks until the next doctor visit. Then he will still have to wear the hose probably just daytime for a while. Doctor said it will take 2-3 months to see maximal improvement in the edema of the legs as they are the last thing to change after the surgery.
Today I go back in training for the 5K walking program. Still have to get the multiplying onions planted and the porch painted.
Happy Sparking everyone!!
