Good morning emoticon, well it is after midnight

Working my regular night shift, and already had a run in with the dreaded "lorna doone's". I don't know why I gravitate to them, they're not even that satisfying. Oh well, that means I won't be skipping spinning class tonight.

Yesterday was another well tracked day, and although I opted for rest before going back to work @ night instead of working out I was very productive making some prepared meals for the next few nights to keep sticking to the program easier emoticon

I fell within my calorie range for the 2nd day in a row without feeling deprived. Now if I could only get through the night shift without straying. I packed a greek yogurt, plum and string cheese and an english muffin. Since I essentially sleep through breakfast and lunch, waking to a hearty snack this is sufficient calorie consumption. But it can be tricky not to snack my way through the night.

So my goal for today is to not eat any(more) foods that I did not bring/prepare myself. There!

IF YOU DIDN'T PACK IT, DON'T SNACK IT! emoticon

Any other 3rd shifters out there that can relate? emoticon

I used to work night shifts when my son was young. Wore me out. I understand the munching. My suggestion would be -try to stay busy, keep your mind occupied so you don't think about it. I've recently tried drinking a glass of water and then gum when I get a craving for junk food. It helps.
