I quit exercising and lost 2 pounds.......WHAT???

As many of you know I have been experiencing severe pain from bilateral trochanteric bursitis. I was in week 3 of my 5K Training Program when the pain got so bad I was not sleeping and could sit only for a short time. I went to the doctor & got a steroid shot in each hip which helped some but it is slow in getting better so I quit the walking program for now. I think the trigger was the fact that I was walking faster for short times on the treadmill and then "normal" speed to try and get off this plateau that I have been on for so long. Anyway, I have had this pain for years & most of the time it is bearable, but occasionally rears it's ugly head and really sets me for a twist!
Yesterday I weighed & had lost 2 lbs. I told myself it was just a fluke & waited until today to see. Today I am down 2 lbs.
so I put it down on my tracker. I need to lose 1 more lb. & I will put 30 lbs. lost on my Spark Page!!
I miss walking & hope to gradually get back to it soon. I have a 5K next month to do with my daughter for the Susan Komen Cancer Walk.
