Everything was going along just fine until a certain letter on the co_puter wouldn't print out; then I couldn't sign in to Spark for the _onth of August because of the letter and e-address and password etc; Then we went away for a few days and by the ti_e we got back I felt like we had been gone for a _onth considering the agony of long distance car travel; I also developed an infla_ation in the left elbow that could have been cellulitis or it could be related to the injections received for the hand procedure surgery of last _onth! I saw the doctor and have an antibiotic awhile; But while we were away celebrating _y _other's 91st birthday I didn't overeat or do any of the foolishness that I did in the past with food! So I think the scale will be positive this week and if so all's well that ends well! As I don't travel often it was just so great seeing fa_ily again after a year! And so nice not to ruin the visit with regrets over food! The keyboard is on its way to being repaired within the week; the doctor has seen the elbow and I will live! I have logged in once again to Spark and life goes on! So although it's true that when it rains it pours it's also true that the sun does shine again and dry up all the rain!! And the itsy bitsy spider goes up the spout again: just had to add that; sorry!!!
You made my giggle by the time I got to the "itsy bitsy spider"! I am glad the elbow will heal and that the computer keyboard will be fixed. Sometimes it doesn't take much to get us off kilter, but it sounds like you did a really good job of staying on track in spite of the stuff going on! Karen 3253 days ago

I am glad to hear you had a good time with your Mom and family. You are still fortunate to have your Mom still. I'm having trouble with the shift key sticking on my keyboard and I just bought it last month from Amazon--don't know if they'd do anything about it as I can't afford a new one right now. It's good to read one of your blogs again--I missed you.
