First Week. Lost only 1 pound. I'll take it :)

The weekend went by fast, what a healthy weekend it was. Finally after a week full of intense eating, intense feeling and intense guilt came some balance. I only lost 1 pound but I feel I have calves now

I think last weekend's plan was too overwhelming and that's why I ended up overeating. I was eating dietary foods I was planning on torching something like 400-500 calories in a single workout tsss very bad, but the weekend was so balanced so here are my lessons from last week and the habits or tips and tricks to practice this week:

LESSON 1. Thin people doesn't eat only dietary foods all day! They eat what their body's tell them to eat in small portions and they combine them with natural healthy foods. seriously i ended up eating like 3 snacking bars because i was hungry instead of eating a soup or some pita with avocado and salmon some real food!

LESSON 2. the most satisfying the breakfast and the meals the less cravings during the day.

LESSON 3. Keep yourself focused! don't think on the diet all day! think of what you're doing and be present in the moment. There's a portuguese (i think) proverb that says: Eat to live, Don't live to eat!

LESSON 4: baby steps are the key to achieve balance! PLAN THEM!

OK SO NOW THE TIPS AND TRICKS OR JUST MINI GOALS OF THIS WEEK:

It's a little bit hard for me to be tracking right now everything online but I am tracking my food at least.
Fitness I went for a jog/walk on saturday, walked ALL day on sunday and Today I started This Running for Beginners Program

emoticon emoticon It was pretty easy today so I walked 20 mins more at a fast pace.

MINIGOALOFTHEWEEK1: Drink 2 glasses of water before every meal, 1 before a snack. = 8 emoticon

MINIGOALOFTHEWEEK2: Bring some lemons to work! and add them to my 4pm yerba mate (It makes me less hungry, hidrates and keeps me awake)

MINIGOALOFTHEWEEK3: BREATH! Practice mindfulness while working, while eating. and take 5 to meditate and visualize how everything is going exactly as you want it to go.

emoticon ALSO we don't need to be yogis to stretch and breath and definitely not in order to have a mindful day. be here now.
