Good Morning, SparkFriends!
It's a bright clear morning and my virtual Friday (last day of work this week). Suffice to say that my brain is already into weekend-mode, which is probably why this next incident still makes me grin.
I test software and I'm currently on assignment at a university. I was testing the application process; primarily that an electronic application would generate an ID, a confirmation email, a learner account, etc. Often I make very obvious "test case learners," so no one ever has to worry about how valid the data is. Bugs Bunny, Chuck Norris... all have been learners once or twice during my time here.
All weekend I've had U2's song "Beautiful Day" in my head; don't know why. Yesterday truly was a Beautiful Day - after many long days of baking heat and withering humidity - so I used "Beautiful Day" as my learner's first and last name. I received the confirmation email and logged in to create the user account. I then navigated to the student site to make sure that the ID and password were correctly created and assigned to the account. Imagine my giggles when, in the upper left corner of the student site, I see the following message:
I'm still grinning... I am a dork.
