DIY Challenge - Jump Start
Wednesday, June 29, 2011
So, the entry form was posted yesterday for the Proving Grounds DIY challenge. I thought about it for awhile. I posted my before photos to the team photos (eek!) I know me, and I'm terrible about signing up for new challenges, and then completely forgetting about them before they even start...then when they do I feel like I'm trying to scramble to fit it in, and, and, yeah, basically I'm a mess and full of excuses. So, before I even filled out my entry card, I decided to get a jump start on things (this is MY challenge, right?). I worked out yesterday (a real workout, not a walk). I did a 30 min TJ workout.
And today...drumroll, please...I worked out again. Big accomplishment for me based on my track record for the last month or two (or three, not sure). Did TF Upper 20
and TJ 20 min workout
today. I don't think I've ever done the TF Upper 20 before. Pretty decent workout. Shoulders are really feeling it.
Now...tomorrow, I'm probably going to be in the field, so probably no lunchtime free for working out. So...plan for tomorrow? Uh... Still working on that.
Maybe a pre-work a.m. workout (I HATE morning workouts though). Maybe workout at home after work (but I know I'm TERRIBLE at following through, I just feel so hot and tired by the time I get home). Can I count swimming with the kiddo as a workout? I've only been once this year, so it WOULD be out of my normal non-exercise routine. But then there's that stupid plus size swim suit (one of my non-health motivation items on my entry card). It's actually not that bad, I finally found one that was at least decent. But it's still a plus sized "hide as much as reasonably possible in a swim suit" swim suit...ya know?
And it may pushing too much too fast, but I'm gonna try to do either my p.m. yoga dvd or my yoga for stress relief dvd tonight...cause I NEED IT. Gotta try to juggle the accounts tonight and see how on earth we'll get through this next month. Ok...now I'm just killing my post workout buzz... Let's put that on the back burner for a few more hours.
