I ate bad, now I feel bad.

Crap, crap, crap.

I am weak!

I've been dodging my friend's phone calls all week because she always want to go out to eat (she can, she's 119 lbs). Finally I felt bad yesterday and we set up a date for today.

I saved up 1,000 calories for dinner by eating light all day and I blew through allllll 1,000 before the entree's even came out in the appetizer. Man!

1,050 calories in french fries for the evening, 937 for the burger, 845 for the ranch. Hope it was worth it, Alexis. I'm not really even mad per se, and I'm definitely not thinking of quitting or anything- I'm actually just ANNOYED that it set me back so far already and I only just lost 3 lbs, probably gained half of it! shoot! Where's my dasani....

Well, crap. Exercising double tomorrow for that little mishap. Man.

Oh and 150 in cookies. SHOOT. forgot about that.

At least I drank water? That was hard enough.

Woah that is a lot of eating indeed but hey I think that happened because you didn't really plan your eating. Your calories should be distributed almost equally in 5-6 meals during the day. By slighly starving yourself during the day getting ready for your date, you put your metabolism in starvation mode so like you guessed it probably retained it. By doubling your workout, you are not really helping yourself because you are going to fatigue your muscles so I won't advise you to do that. On the contray just plan your daily meals.
When it comes to going out with your friend, make her understand that you are in a healthier lifestyle journey and that you would like a little more support from her. Have more healthy dates. For example, you could go to the gym together or have a dine-in dinner and try a healthy recipe. This will help you stay on track. Your friend will understand and encourage your efforts.
Just get back on track and please don't beat yourself up emoticon

It could have been a lot worse if you didn't save up those 1000 calories! Maybe you and your friend can do something else instead of dinner all the time? My friends know i'm watching what i'm eating, so always suggest something else to do.

    You'll do great today!

Don't sweat it. Just get back on your regular program tomorrow like it didn't even happen. Just don't go and eat like that again anytime soon. If you are eating fairly sensibly and you get back to working out that one night won't stick with you very long. Yeah, its going to set you back, but the sooner you get on track the quicker you'll get rid of whatever you put on. I did the same thing at the Chinese buffet on Sunday and it came off by the third day and I started making progress again. This is a marathon not a sprint. (thought I would throw one of those cliche's at you cause I know how you like them emoticon

Thanks for sharing, it happens, it's done, time to move on. Once you get a bit better at this you will find that you can still go out to eat, just need to make better choices, don't worry it will come just give it time. BTW you were thinking ahead by saving calories, so it was not a total loss, you are getting there and since you have already moved on, you will do great!! emoticon

definitely don't give up, and don't beat yourself up too much. You are going to have days like this where you eat the wrong things and make the wrong decisions. Resolve now to make your next choices better. Don't wait until tomorrow or next week to get back on track. Learn from experiences like this and decide what you will do differently next time.

Ditching your friend is probably not the besy idea (unless you don't value her friendship) but maybe you guys can do something else rather than go out to eat. Or if you do want to go out to eat, decide ahead of time what you are going to order and stick to it.
