What is this pain?

Tuesday, May 31, 2011

I love running. I'm getting back into it regularly and I've started having a pain. It is only in my right calf. It's not on the front like a shin splint. It is on the inside of my calf and it is more of a throbbing or stabbing pain. It is not constant. I don't feel while I'm running or walking, but I feel it when I'm sitting.

Anybody got any ideas? It's driving me crazy.

Never heard of this before. Check out Runner's World's website. Maybe you can find an answer there.

hmmm....not sure. maybe it's a pinched nerve in your back (or backside) that's causing the pain when you sit?

if it continues try drinking more water and stretching or yoga or see your dr.

I hope you feel better soon.
