An Update On My Water Goal Progress

Wednesday, May 25, 2011

Hi Spark friends! Here I go - being accountable.

Well yesterday, I already did not make it. I made my goal going to work. However, I drank no water at work. I did not even realize it until it was almost time to leave! It was just a crazy day.

Then driving home I also forgot to drink my water, even though I had the water ready! I checked my messages before driving home. Some of them stressed and upset me. Instead of drinking water and listening to my carefully chosen cds ( bible studies or books). I just had a pity party.

When I got home I realized it and drank my water bottle. So I got 2/3s of my water down. Without having made my recent goals regarding water I don't think I would have done even this.

So, in conclusion, I say at least I got in the 2/3s. It is worth it to make a well thought out goal. Having a goal in mind educated me on what my problems are so I can be aware and do better.

I think blogging about how I'm doing is helpful. Maybe I will work on one or 2 goals at a time so I don't get overwhelmed. I think it is approximately 3 months to develop a habit. I wish it didn't take that long! I will do what I have to do though. I will make the water my major goal until I'm consistent for 3 months.

Til next time! emoticon emoticon

21 days to break the old habit and then form a new habit.

Only Jesus will get you there, He is the living water which is what you need.
