Spring 5% Challenge - Day 1

Okay, so I've joined this challenge to lose 5% of my weight in 8 weeks. I know there are many aspects to the challenge, and I'm ready, set, go.. But I've got to admit, as my mailbox fills up with sparkmails and notifications of new threads and I read all these posts that say don't respond here, post in another thread and then can't quite figure out what I'm supposed to do or where I'm supposed to do it, I am a bit confused, and I am wondering, "what the he!! have I gotten myself into??"
Now, I'm sure this will all sort itself out, and heck, if I manage to lose 13 lbs by the 4th of July, I'll be screaming from the rooftops...but as of right now, I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed. So I think I'll just go workout..that's probably a good place to start..
