Challenge

This has been a fabulous week. I've challenged myself to ride 20 miles a day on the stationary bike and so far I am well above par. Since last Sunday (3/13/11) my lowest day was 23.2 miles. My highest so far is 24 miles in two sessions. (I ride twice a day.) In my morning session today I rode 14.1 miles. So my challenge for this week is just about a done deal. No. I'm not boasting. So what's my point? Sometimes we need to challenge ourselves just to make sure we're still awake and not just going through the motions. Then of course there's the added bonus of the tremendous feeling of accomplishment you get when those daily challenges are met and surpassed! Come on I know I can't be alone on this one. Doesn't it feel awesome when you know you've just kicked your challenge's butt?? So don't run from a challenge, no matter how difficult it gets. I mean it has to be tough, otherwise it wouldn't be a challenge. It would be a given. So face your challenges head on and forge ahead. In the end you'll be glad you did. LETS DO THIS!!
And remember: You're worth every bit of the effort it takes to reach your goals...AND THEN SOME!!!
