Thanks for all of the support and prayers. Over the past few months several of my sparkbuddies have asked about my husband's progress. I just wanted to update everyone by a little show and tell. Seeing is believing, MIRACLES happen everyday. What a difference 5 mos can make, huh? His surgery was 10/13/2010. The photo was taken 5 mos. to the date of his surgery.
Bladder cancer took his prostate and bladder but he's living his life to the fullest.
When he was in the hospital I told him that I was prepared to carry him on my back if I had to, to get him through that rough patch. I meant every word.
He bought this riding lawn mower Jan 2010. The day after he rode the mower, it snowed. Happy New Year Everyone!!
That's awesome that your husband is doing great. I am sure your determination and loyalty to see him through helped tremendously. Sorry that it snowed after he mowed the lawn. Better get that snow blower too, lol. 3587 days ago
So glad to hear that your husband is doing well and enjoying his lawnmower. My husband enjoys riding his as well, but we will need to get rid of all of the snow before he can think of it. 3597 days ago
