Happy Wednesday Everyone. Just Stopping by to let you know how my walk/run workouts are going.
Well I think they are going great!
I'm going to start following my training plan to get my running longer.
I also want to check myself on different terrains. I mostly have been running on concrete sidewalks or on asphalt or parking lots. The high school running track is asphalt but it appears that I have to try harder to run on it. I don't know if my tennis shoe is incompatible with that surface or not. I guess I have to get use to it. I also desire to run at the park on the trail that is gravel and dirt to test my time there also.
I'm going forward and can't wait for the 5K in April. Each person can do it where ever they want. I'm thinking I want to do it at the park so maybe Thursday or Friday I'll check it out. I'm running inside the house too. In place to practice.
How are you doing on your workout plans? Are you making progress or do you feel like you are treading water? DON'T GIVE UP!

Good Day Deb! I am sitting here trying to spark before I go to work & not have to do it all day at work. I'm almost done & I do know about that walk/job in place from indoor w/Leslie. I think you should make sure that your shoe is compatable for your workouts. Its going but slowly but I won't give up. It is not an option.
