Feeling pretty good!!! :)

Tuesday, March 15, 2011

Despite my killer menstrual cramps... I feel good!!! I reached my initial goal of losing 30 pounds before my Spring getaway to Virginia Beach for my daughter's US Finals cheerleading competition in April. AWESOME! I am proud and wearing pants that are 2 sizes smaller today. Weird part is... I don't really SEE the weight loss yet. Sure, I get compliments from co-workers and squeeze into clothes from my past... but it's not a VISUAL difference in the mirror. Then again, I do still have a long way to go on this weight loss journey.

Anyways, I am rewarding myself for reaching this goal with a half order of Little Ceasar's bread sticks! I realize it's not a healthy reward... but it smells sooooooooo good right now! And I do plan to work it off tonight... either on the trampoline if it's nice enough out or some wii Zumba or Dance game and maybe a face paced walk with the dogs.

Anyways... the next goal is 20 more pounds by the end of the school year/first week of June. That goal had better give some more VISUAL results. :) And guess what... my dad offered to pay $40 per pound for this next goal!!!! Yep same as before... half when I lose the weight and the other half when I keep it off for 3 months (or maybe it was 6 months). Dang... the money is a great extra motivator for me! By the time my nephew's Bar Mitzvah comes around in November... I should be feeling like a new person and looking more like the "old me" that most of the guests will expect to see. :)

Thanks SparkPeople!!! You ROCK!
